Weather and Plague

A recent study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences also reported in Discovery News examines the impact of weather on plague outbreaks 1850-1964.  The authors find that wet weather increased outbreaks in arid regions but reduced them in the wetter parts of southern China.
